Jittra Boonnim
(She/her)
I have been practicing massage therapy since 2021. I truly believe in and practice the therapeutic aspects of massage. In short, I focus more on the healing and the alleviation of pain aspects of massage over general relaxation. I approach my work by treating the people I serve as individuals in need of health care, rather than as clients or customers.
My primary focus in therapy is reducing muscle tension, relieving pain, increasing range of motion, and promoting overall mobility. I believe that when pain decreases, and movements become easier, it is when the body can start to fully relax – and when the body is relaxed, it can then have a positive effect on one’s disposition and mental health as well.
Each of my massage therapy sessions is thoughtfully tailored to the individual’s needs, health issues, and medical history. My therapy sessions may include a combination of Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, Ashiatsu, Shiatsu, cupping therapy, hot stone therapy, and Thai massage, using whichever technique is appropriate for the individual.
Educational Background I completed my massage therapy program at East West College of the Healing Arts. In addition to my massage training, I have studied anatomy and physiology, microbiology, human development, nutrition, cell biology, and other prerequisite courses as part of my ongoing pursuit of a future education in healthcare.
I treat each individual with the care and respect they deserve. Life is often difficult for many of us; we accumulate pain and tension as we do our best to get through each day. I am passionate about massage therapy because it allows me to do my small part in making the world a slightly better place by reducing some of the pain we all share.

LAc
I began my medical career in 2008 as a doctor, obtaining an allopathic medical degree in 2014 in my home country, Barbados. After 12 months of working as a medical intern in a public hospital in Trinidad, I decided to pursue a degree in natural medicine instead of continuing on to a medical residency program. My dream was to pursue and practice a form of medicine that complemented the body’s innate abilities of self-healing, viewed each person as an individual and shared my beliefs in the mind-body connection for healing. It was at NUNM in Portland, OR, where I found my home in Classical Chinese Medicine.
My acupuncture style follows closely with Traditional Japanese techniques which are gentle and incredibly effective. Such techniques include gentle insertive needling, non-insertive needling, moxibustion and gentle bodywork such as sotai, myofascial release and cranialsacral therapy. I enjoy working with a diverse patient population with conditions such as acute and chronic pain, physical rehabilitation (such as neurological conditions, injury, stroke) and the secondary stress, anxiety and depression that can result.
I have chosen not to be a licensed MD in the United States but enjoy using my medical knowledge in understanding my patients from a biomedical perspective, speaking and translating the Western language of medicine, and combining it with my knowledge of East Asian medicine. I am a national board-certified acupuncturist with the NCCAOM and Oregon Medical Board.

Pearl Wilson
Pearl has focused her practice with the mindset that massage is an amazing tool for helping people feel more at home and functional in their bodies. She took clinical training at Oregon School of Massage in Portland in Shiatsu as well as Swedish. She weaves in myofascial release, deep tissue and trigger point techniques in her sessions when appropriate, careful to go at the pace of the tissue’s release carefully listening for how the impact of techniques applied are affecting her clients and making appropriate adjustments as the session progresses.
In her life outside of massage she is a fusion dancer, painter, and costume creatrix. These artistic endeavors all involve a careful dance between planned intention, observation of outcome, and response to outcome as she goes through the creative process. This way of thinking crosses over into her sessions. A session begins with a conversation between client and LMT, a goal or intention is set, and as we go we observe the impact of the techniques and respond to the outcome of those techniques intelligently like a somatic conversation… or a dance!
